The Tom Lainis STEMinar is a four-day workshop for local middle school students hosted each year by the Center for Leader Development in STEM (CLD-STEM), and the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering. The summer workshop is dedicated to Professor Thomas Lainis (USMA class of 1971), whose greatest contribution to physics was instilling curiosity and a passion for science in the minds of hundreds of children.
